Launch Junior line

In new corporate identity

The Van Gogh Museum’s corporate identity, introduced in 2010, was supplemented by a junior line. This special line is for communications with children, young people and their intermediaries, such as teachers and family members.

The junior line was also inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s characteristic brushstrokes, which were specially adapted for our young target group. Like the Van Gogh Museum house style, the junior line was designed by Koeweiden Postma. The junior brushstroke and the line’s special images have given a more robust and recognisable look to the educational programme. In junior line images the emphasis lies on photography with children in the leading role, thereby inviting children to join in our activities.

The new junior line has been used in educational and communication media, products for children in the Museum Shop and in Van Gogh Museum publications for children and young people.
